If there are future generations they'll at least be shaking their heads when the discuss the generations living now. What gives us the right to burn up the world's fossil fuels that took millions of years to create? And in the process bugger up our own environment? Stupidity coupled with greed.

I'm with Obama. Both the Israelis and the Palestinians need to back off and belly up to the negotiating table. The road they're both on goes nowhere but into darker times. I'm glad Obama was blunt. Reality is a hard pill to take at times.

If you can't hike out - don't go in - unless you just want to stay there. I can think of a lot less pleasant places to be when death knocks on the door.

Miners exposed to Plutonium. Yeah, right. Plutonium is not a naturally occurring element. It is human made from Uranium. Also, the shortest half-life isotopes are the most dangerous. If something has a short half-life that means it decays into other isotopes/elements more readily.

Oh Gee, we've got choice. What a bunch of whiners! It is called competition. Is there something wrong with that?! Each platform brings cool ideas to the marketplace. What do you think Windoze would be like if it weren't for Apple?!

The size of their balloon is pretty darn easy to determine - video of it near objects of know size. So, it can only contain so much helium. Last I looked, helium is on every periodic table.
